9999 fine gold, measures an impressive 44mm x 26.4mm, and has a very low mintage limit of only 550 coins. The reverse features the image of a football, utilizing the 3-D convex shape to appear inflated. The design, created by the RCM engravers, includes beautifully detailed textured leather panels, frosted night stripes, and laces.

"200 DOLLARS" and "2017" is inscribed into the design. The profile image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II appears in the center of the concave obverse. Designed by artist Susanna Blunt in 2003, it is surrounded by a textured field, with "CANADA" inscribed above and ELIZABETH II D. Graded a flawless Proof 70 by the NGC. Gold Proof is perfectly struck, graded Proof 70 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC).
