You will receive one 1967 Specimen set as noted in the title. These 1967 Specimen Sets are all original and have been sealed in their original leatherette cases for the past 55 years!

Even the original outer plastic bag is included! Almost every silver coin has a beautiful blue tone to it. Please read the paragraph below for more info about their discovery.

Around 7 months ago I was called to do an appraisal at a bank for a coin collection that had been stored there since the 1970s. The original owner of the collection had passed away and made no mention of its existence to his family nor in his will so the beneficiaries had no idea of its contents.

Ive done multiple appraisals over the years for collections stored in safety deposit boxes but upon arrival I was surprised to find a large 28x15x15 inch box wrapped in brown Kraft paper. Apparently this was the only personal item that had ever been stored at the bank that wasnt in a safety deposit box.

Instead the large box was held in the banks vault for the past 45-50 years, untouched until I recently revealed its contents. Opening boxes for the first time since they were sealed by Royal Canadian Mint employees back in the 1960s and 1970s was a coin collectors dream come true and an experience I will never forget. As you may know, most collector coins produced by the RCM after 1967 have either dropped in value since their production, or are valued based on their precious metal content. This means most collections from this era aren't terribly valuable. I completed the appraisal and made the owners an offer.

7 months later I heard back from them and they were ready to sell the collection to me! Im very pleased to offer these as-new coins and sets to my customers! It would be difficult to find original coins and sets with cases as pristine as these since they have only been opened once by me to confirm their contents and authenticity.
